P-Square’s record label, Square Records, released a
statement this morning, announcing the end of their business
relationship with the only other artist on their label, Mr May D.
Square
Records’ first signing, Akinmayokun Awodumila, popularly known as May D
was signed by the label some months ago and has released few hit tracks
under the label including ‘Ile Ijo’, ‘Soundtrack’, and the remix he did
with Akon and P-Square.
According to the statement, the split is
due to the irreconcilable differences between the two parties. The
Okoyes further wished May D all the best in his career.
Reacting
to the statement, May D in a phone conversation with the NET, claimed
that he had no idea of what the Okoyes were talking about.
