Here goes another take home diary for the week…Enjoy
To the world, we are like the
most perfect couple but what the world doesn’t know is that,
most perfect couple but what the world doesn’t know is that,
we are not
anywhere near that title. We give the world exactly what it wants to see,
anywhere near that title. We give the world exactly what it wants to see,
our
happy smiles, cheerful public hugs and kisses, and the media lies we tell.

The
world doesn’t know that it is all make believe.

You see, I grew up with the
belief that all love stories have a happily ever after ending.

Don’t blame me,
it’s all Disney’s fault plus I grew up in a home where love is preached
it’s all Disney’s fault plus I grew up in a home where love is preached
and practiced.
All my life, I dreamt of meeting my Mr. Right who would sweep me off my feet at
first sight,
wow me with his indescribable French kiss and you know, walk down
the aisle with me.
the aisle with me.
Believe me, that is exactly how my love story went. When I
met my husband,
met my husband,
it was his breath-taking smile that struck me, plus he was
tall, handsome, rich,
tall, handsome, rich,
had power (his dad was a popular business tycoon) and was
just PERFECT.
just PERFECT.
We dated for a while and then we got married.
I was the happiest woman on earth
when we got married;
my heart knew no bounds when the pastor pronounced us as
Hussy n Wiffy.
My wedding night was another glorious moment, if I had my way, I
wouldn’t
make it end at all. The media also blew my mind with their
‘mouth-watering
amazing report’ of the wedding; we were the envy of almost everyone.
They
wanted our kind of ‘happily-ever after wedding’.

Every day, I would wake up my
husband up with a kiss on his forehead,
dutifully prepare his breakfast, fix
his tie and see him off to the car.
I would wave at him till he drives out and leave
for my office too.
In the evenings, we would shower together, and …well, well,
things have changed now!

Anyways, I must say this; my
husband is a wonderful guy, he really is
but it wasn’t until a week after our
wedding that I realized that he wasn’t as perfect
as I thought he was. I found
out that he had some habits that I didn’t like…
