That I’m married to a muslim doesn’t stop me from being a christian -Funke Akindele


Following her marriage to an Alhaji on the 26th of May, 2012, Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele  now has an adopted Islamic name, Khadijat. The adoption shocked many of her fans, most of whom frowned at her marriage to an already married muslim.

Anyway, Funke has announced via her twitter handle that she is still in Christ despite marrying a muslim.

In a response to the tweet by one of her twitter followers, Funke replied; “Always in Christ!! He’s my strength & Shield. Tnx”

 In the mean time, the Newly wedded couple – Nollywood actress
Funke Akindele and Kenny Almaroof Oloyede have traveled to London to
spend their honeymoon.
The couple left Nigeria for the UK on Tuesday, May 30, 2012.
